To Whom It May Concern: Stringtown School in Stringtown, Oklahoma had the Link Family present a music assembly during the 2007-2008 school year. We found them to be highly entertaining and very skilled in their craft. Their familyness, to me, was a great testament to the power of the family. It was also refreshing to see a family that had been creative enough to find an avenue that could support them and at the same time keep them all together. The program could help young people understand that they can have goals and accomplish those goals with determination and hard work. As princiapl of Tupelo Public School in tupelo Oklhoma, out students were most impressed with the Link Family. The show grabbed our students attention and and they without a doubt had the time of their life. I had many students come up to me after the show and express their thanks to me for having the Link Fmaily come to Tupelo OK. The show was fun and very entertaining. My name is Roland Smith Superintendent of Lane School District. I have been in the school business for 20 years and have seen many different programs in the schools. Without a doubt, the Link Family program was a homerun for us. They were very entertaining but yet educational in the history of Bluegrass music and music in general. They also incorporate life skills, things like determination, character, and dare to dream. They left a positive impression on our kids..WE as a staff feel we definitely got a return on our investment.
We cant wait for them to come back!
